Finima Nature Park is a 1,000-hectare nature reserve located in Bonny Island, Rivers State, Nigeria. Established in 1999 and managed by Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Limited (NLNG), the park is home to a rich diversity of wildlife including the African Grey Parrot, saltwater hippos, crocodiles, and a vast array of bird and plant species.
The park is one of only two Wetlands Education Centres in Nigeria recognised by Wetlands Link International, and was named a Star Wetland Visitor Centre in 2022, a distinction held by just 23 sites worldwide.
Finima Nature Park is open to individuals, families, schools, researchers and corporate groups looking to connect with nature, learn about conservation, and experience one of Nigeria’s most unique natural environments.
